Why is Keep Chamblee Beautiful involved with Geocaching?

KCB is working to make Chamblee a cleaner, greener and more beautiful place to live, work and play. We believe a great, easy, no-cost way to help promote to our mission (and our city) is to first get people out into our parks, green spaces and other awesome areas that might otherwise not be explored.

After all, if you don’t know an area exists, how can you be motivated to help clean, preserve and/or improve it? Geocaching gets people exploring – where they can see directly how great a park is or how much wildlife is living in the green space near their house. Geocaching can also help people see first hand how polluted a stream is or how much trash piles up under a bridge. And just maybe, they will be inspired to get involved and help improve things.

We believe the more people we can get Geocaching in the Chamblee, the better our city will become. Plus, it’s super fun!
