We think people, businesses, and organizations who help make Chamblee a cleaner, greener and more beautiful place to live, work and play deserve some recognition. Right!?

We created our Gold Star Awards Program as our little way of saying thanks to those in our Chamblee community who we believe best represent our mission.  Award winners receive a certificate, yard sign, a KCB tee-shirt, car magnet, Internet fame and good karma for as long as they live. Wow!

If you would like to make a nomination, please fill out the below form.

2017 Winners:

Benigno Requena “Benny” has been working for the City of Chamblee since September 2015 as a Parks Worker I.  So far, in 2017, Benny has volunteered to work all the clean-up days that KCB has hosted and he doesn’t just supply  the tools and water…he’s right in mix pulling weeds, planting flowers, throwing pine straw, etc.

Eric Stephens has been working for the City of Chamblee for almost twenty years and serves as the Parks Supervisor for the department.  Eric also owns his own landscape and construction company.  It was Eric’s company, Alexus Lawns, that donated all the pine straw in 2017 for one of the Keep Chamblee Beautiful Clean-up days.
