To become or stay an affiliate of Keep America Beautiful, KCB (“Keep Chamblee Beautiful”) must conduct a yearly Community Appearance Index of the City of Chamblee.
To do this, a group of city employees and KCB volunteers will spend an afternoon touring the city and assessing litter, illegal signs, graffiti, and other items that contribute to the overall appearance of our great city. We’ll use a standard scoring method to rank the assessed areas. The results will be compiled and used to develop a local plan to change attitudes and behaviors regarding litter and related issues. We will provide the training, tools and transportation necessary for you to participate. All you’ll need to do is volunteer your time for one afternoon!
