Chamblee organizes once a year (late summer) a Hazardous Waste Event, where Chamblee residents can drop off for free a large list of items, from paint, pesticides to car batteries, aerosols, and more. Please check our calendar for the date of the event.
Drop off locations in Atlanta
There are two locations where you can drop off various hard to recycle items: CHaRM (Center for Hard to Recycle Materials) and Keep Atlanta’s Beautiful Recycling Day. At CHaRM you can even dispose of carpets, toilets and paint. Below the links to the websites and locations.
